19 of Medvedev's twenty-one titles have been achieved on hard courts
A resurgent Medvedev secured his first trophy for 882 days with a win over Frenchman Moutet in the tournament final.
Medvedev, a ex- number one, has experienced a torrid period, managing just a single victory at the Grand Slams and suffering a setback at the American major.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the ATP Tour - and difficulties with his serving in especial - caused him dropping out of the elite rankings and eventually parting ways with long-time coach his previous coach.
Currently working with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has gradually progressed in the last few weeks - peaking in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 victory over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
It is his maiden trophy following the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard surface from that period of that year.
Victory also signifies the Russian has secured 21 victories at 21 different competitions.
"It's the first time I am participating in a tournament with my children simultaneously, so to win a title is really nice," said ranked player the champion.
"This victory is in tribute of my child her name, because the maiden victory I got when my child her name was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had failed in his past six championship matches, including in the German tournament previously this season.
His defensive strategy and regular outbursts on court had prompted some to wonder if his capacity to play at the top level was over.
However the 29-year-old has made changes in the last few weeks, attempting to advance forward and perform aggressively, supported by an enhanced service.
Medvedev fought back from a deficit in the opening set against the difficult Moutet, winning 4 of the concluding five exchanges to take the lead.
The pair exchanged service breaks in the following set before the challenger, striving for his first professional title, took control to force a third set.
Moutet defended 4 early-game break points in a close deciding set before Medvedev won the break to fifteen to secure the win.
Suitably, Medvedev earned the win with a rally at the net area, with his opponent incapable to handle a volley after over two and a half hours.
